The Music is to 1800s-ish. I would recomend other movies like “The Backyardigans’, “LazyTown”, or the classic family musical “CATS”!! I Hate This DVD!!!!!!!!!

We were SO excited to find these on Amazon. My 3 and a half year old grandson has loved Little Bear nearly half his life. No Little Bear DVDs in the shops here and the tapes mama made from the TV have nearly worn out. The US dvds played on our Aus player perfectly. The Little Bear stories are delightful, gently paced, kindly humorous and, although a teensy bit sexist in places, have more moral depth to them than a lot of stuff for preschoolers. This movie does have a short passage that Casper finds a bit scary and we turn that part off for him. Otherwise we are happy for Casper to watch the rest of the movie.

  5. My granddaughter has watched this over and over. Just seeing her smile continually through the whole movie makes it a 5 star. It is a gentle and lovely movie.
