  1. I start watching it online when I didn’t have nothing on t.v. Saturday. I really like horror movies with different things. I not in gay movies but they seem more interesting with drama, the more clue and love. I do like Darmin vampire because he’s the leader of the vampires and he is in love with Thom. I can’t wait until coming out The Lair season 4 because the conclusion was sad. And I hope Darmin get revenage on Colin and this time killed him the final time.

  2. Beware: its not a big budget TV Serie like “The Vampire Diaries” but it has his own charme, created by Fred Olen Ray.

The show is produced by a small gay/lesbian themed TV Studio. Sound and Picture of the DVD are well , the stories are interesting and shows a lot skin.

I just finished watching season three of “The Lair” and I am totally hooked on the show as silly as it is. There is no great acting, the story line is fairly predictable but there is something about a gay vampire series that pulls me in–especially when I consider that “The Lair” began before “True Blood” became the rage.

The Lair is a private club that is managed by vampires in a small island community. We watch their comings and goings and there are some good looking blood suckers on parade. In fact, if you look hard enough you will find a bevy of porn stars acting in the series in both speaking and non-speaking roles–Dylan Vox (Brad Benton, Johnny Hazzard, C.J. Madison, Tyler Saint, Doug Jeffries and others. The eye candy keeps you watching and I found it interesting that in each season and even in each episode porn stars turn up.

For season three I expected a little more in the line of acting but it did not happen. Story line wise a lot came together and it is possible that the series could end right now without a fourth season but I hope that is not the case. I found the series to be addictive and when it was over I felt if I was ready to see some more. Sure it is camp but there is nothing wrong with that.

  4. I expected better storylines and acting by season 3, but what can I say? It is a fun series to watch, but almost seems like it has the production values of a 70’s low budget porn move, as well as the same writers. A shame because Dantes Cove is so much better! I really hope the next season gets better, or even more, I hope that they will do another season of Dantes Cove!
